I just stumbled upon your blog while doing some research for our honeymoon to Belgium this summer. Your blog looks like it will be very helpful to our planning! We definitely want to visit the major cities but also want to visit the "off the beaten path" places as well. Looking forward to exploring your blog some more. Thanks in advance for the ideas!

Nibor, the easiest is probably to take the train to Groot-Bijgaarden station and then walk up Brusselsstraat to Isidoor Van Beverenstraat. It's a distance of about 800 metres which should take you about 10 minutes. Alternatively take bus 136 from Brussels Zuid and get off at Groot-Bijgaarden Kerk and walk about 200 metres. I've attached a PDF of the bus 136 timetable in the article.

I want to go! But I'm finding it difficult to find out how to get there by public transport. The website says to take Brussels South : bus De Lijn 136 – stop Kerk, but I can't find info on that route in English. Otherwise, Google trip planner has me transferring twice between trams and busses, and walking a lot in between. Are there any day coach trips from Brussels?
